We hear of beautiful gardens with beautiful sculptures highlighting Spanish moss and trees. Savannah is also the hometown of a woman who has changed the lives of millions of girls around the world – Juliette Gordon Low, founder of Girl Scouts. Even the cemeteries are so beautiful with its haunting statuesa book from Bonaventure Cemetery, a huge tourist destination.
Savannah offers visitors all year, but year-round residents enjoy their southern roots. The architecture of the historic River Street features styles, federalism, Gothic Revival and Italian.
