If the previous articles in this series I read you already know a bit 'more than ever to fly RC planes. You may also have a few flights under your belt, preferably under the guidance of a coach prepared, and we hope that you have the basic safety rules RC, introduced the theme of this game. Even if you do, whether on an accurate reading of the manual (good!) See the video on the internet or learn from experienced pilots, safetysuch important requirement of aviation liability which can not be underestimated. Although not an exhaustive list, here are some things to consider to ensure not only your safety but also those of others, flying RC planes.

wind conditions first, this may seem like a no-brainer, but many beginners are afraid to fly so that sometimes does not reflect the limits of their aircraft. Some models should be flown only in calm conditions, others are sure to fly, 5, or 10 mpheven more. Knowing what your plane in a position when it is too windy, it's better to wait another day.

Second flight-range when you plan to fly RC planes flying in a public place, check first that it is legal, some municipalities have ordinances against it. They do not fly in a space too small for your plane and avoid areas with too many people, animals or obstacles. Of course, if you fly in a box of clubs, you do not have these concerns, all you have to do is obey their safetyRules.

Third Pre-Flight Check-it 's a good idea to go through most of the pre-flight inspections twice, once before you leave home and again just before you fly. Make sure the plan a good balance and wings and tail are in the correct direction, all nuts, bolts and screws are tight and all connections must be ensured and rudder to see that really move. All batteries should be fully charged and make sure the signal is strong enough to flynormal range.

Fourth Frequency Control – where pilots fly other RC aircraft in the vicinity, do not turn on the transmitter until they are switched off one another, if you are sure you will be a different frequency spectrum, the same when you try to operate the aircraft, disrupt signals, and lead to crashes. This is not a problem if you use a 2.4 GHz radio, but it is a problem with using a set of narrow band.

Extended scenes that antenna!-This includesonly narrow-band users, but it is very important to those who remember. Almost everyone forgets once in a while, but without full antenna extension, you will have problems, control system and its range of flight will be limited.

These guidelines are for safety before starting the engine, I will have suggestions for a safe start in the next article in this series. The manual should all the issues discussed here, but if the address you have questions, talk to someone about yourdealer or an experienced pilot. All but the smallest aircraft are capable of causing serious injury and / or property damage, so always use common sense and make safety a priority when flying RC airplanes.
